Mini-SMC
The new Mini-SMC is a small, compact signaling device for monitoring 2 alarm contacts. The device has a built-in antenna and works in the 4G cellular network. The Mini-SMC is installed in a watertight housing (100mm x 60mm x 40mm L x W x H) and ideal for monitoring full signal or fault contacts on compactors or other devices. Operating voltage: 8-36 volts. The Mini-SMC is controlled via the IDL web portal. Incl. Europe SIM card with 500MB data volume (sufficient for approx. 4-5 years). The Mini-SMC can be equipped with the following additional options for an additional charge:
- Post mortem function (in the event of a power failure, the Mini-SMC continues to be supplied with an internal battery to signal the power failure)
- Serial interface RS232 / RS485 (bidirectional communication with an intelligent control unit to exchange telemetry data, for example)
- Analog interface
- External LTE antenna
- NB-IoT Modem 4G and 5G (new transmission standard for data communication, which also works in difficult reception situations, e.g. in basements or buildings.
SMC-LoRa
The new SMC-LoRa (LoRa stands for Long Range) from IDL is the optimal system for remote monitoring of several devices within a radius of up to 2000 meters. The advantage of this very compact system is the wireless connection of the monitored devices. Up to 255 wireless control modules (WCM external) send status changes of the monitored devices to the IDL LoRa HUB, which forwards the data via LTE / GPRS to the IDL data center. Corresponding alarm emails or SMS are generated for up to three recipients. The content of the email / SMS and the respective recipients can be easily maintained via the IDL web portal. The web portal also offers extensive functionalities for the status of the monitored devices.
Technical data:
- Dimensions HUB: 160 x 90 x 50 mm, WCM: 60 x 60 x 40 mm (L x W x H)
- Both systems are splash-proof according to IP67
- Supply voltage HUB: 220 volts, WCM: 10-36 volts DC (separate power supply unit as an option)
- The WCM has 2 monitoring contacts, potential-free 8-36 volt DC.
- The LoRa HUB has a GPRS / LTE modem with M2M-SIM card for Europe-wide function
